The Milk Stand

Welcome to Palmers Farm, a tenth-generation, family-run farm where we take huge pride in looking after our herd of gorgeous girls. We believe a happy life spent grazing the fields makes for the most delicious, nutritious milk around.

Customers are able to purchase fresh pasteurised, non-homogenised whole milk from us, or create their own delicious milkshakes from a variety of syrup flavours at the mooshake bar. We have reusable 1 litre glass bottles available to purchase, or alternatively, you can bring your own. We will also have compostable cups too so that you can enjoy a smaller 500ml serving on the spot.

Our milk stand is located just over a mile outside of Hemyock and we think it makes the perfect stop if you are out on your bike or enjoying a family walk. There are a couple of picnic benches too so that you can stay a while and enjoy the beautiful surroundings while you sip. You might even hear the tinkle of Fiona’s cowbell as she grazes the fields nearby with her friends.

Our herd of British Frisian cows are milked twice a day by us and their milk from is then gently pasteurised right here on the farm in our newly converted shipping container

We have seven regular milkshake flavours on offer; Strawberry, Raspberry, Chocolate, Banana, Coffee, Salted Caramel and Mint Chocolate with weekly specials that include: Biscoff, Nutella, Oreo, Rolo, Rhubarb and Custard and many more. We also sell local brownies and blueberries in our vending machine too.
